Lepas indica Annandale, 1909

Several of these gooseneck barnacle species look similar, but we think this one is mostly Lepas indica. They are found on floating debris that washes ashore, on pier pilings and floating docks, and on the lines and subsurface buoys marking lagoon shipwrecks.

The clump below may include L. anserifera as well.
