Bennett's butterflyfish, 20cm

This fish is moderately common on lagoon, pinnacle and seaward reefs. They are usually alone or in pairs. They are said to feed primarily on living coral.

A favorite food item seems to be the polyps of the stalk coral Lobophyllia.
