We see this shrimp most often on the anemones Stichodactyla haddoni, Heteractis doreensis, Actinodendron arboreum, and A. plumosum, although it can also occur on Stichodactyla mertensii, Heteractis aurora, Heterodactyla hemprichii, and probably others. They often hover like little helicopters above the anemone, sometimes stationary, sometimes weaving back and forth.
The one below is on Stichodactyla haddoni.
Below, the host is Heteractis doreensis.
The shrimp below lives on Heteractis aurora.
Other shrimp living in anemones include Ancylocaris brevicarpalis, Gnathophyllum americanum, and Thor amboinensis.
