Amphiprion melanopus Bleeker, 1852
Tomato clown

We are quite certain that this particular Amphiprion melanopus has inhabited this same Stichodactyla mertensii for at least 17 years. It never seemed to attract a mate, however. This anemone and clownfish was gone by 2015; possibly the anemone was done in by the coral bleaching events in 2013 and 2014, although typically Stichodactyla mertensii is usually not too visibly affected by bleaching.
