Fungiidae spp.

Sometimes when flipped upside down or stuck in a dark ledge, the soft coral tissue will balloon out. This has been shown to enable some individuals to flip themselves over when they are upside down. Perhaps it also stretches out their surface area when in the dark to efficiently capture all the limited available sunlight.
