Porites cylindrica Dana, 1846

Porites cylindrica is a common species that can be seen on lagoon, pinnacle and seaward reefs. It prefers quiet inshore waters where it can be the dominant species covering most of the bottom. Colors mostly range from yellow to grayish brown.
