Eriphia sebana (Shaw & Nodder, 1803)
60mm

Eriphia sebana is a very shallow water species commonly seen on exposed intertidal reefs at low tide.

When approached on the reef, they will usually spread out their chelipeds as if challenging the intruder.

This one apparently captured and is tearing apart a blenny.
