These were under rocks on Kwajalein lagoon reef and pinnacles. This is a variable crab, but it is possible that not all are the same species. One or more could be Etisus electra. The sculpturing of the chelipeds and the shape of the carapace edge between the eyes vary among the specimens we are including here.
