There are a number of species of what appear to be Oncinopus or Inachus spider crabs at Kwajalein, or perhaps there are fewer species with lots of variations. This one with its black and orange brown bands on the appendages is one of the most easily recognized. They live under rocks or on gorgonians on a range of lagoon and seaward reefs. The one in the first few photos is carrying eggs.
