With its long lateral spines, this one falls into the genus Xiphonectes. Suggested possibilities from the crab identification group on Facebook are X. quinotae or X. pulchicristatus, but not enough critical details could be seen to be certain. This one was seen in a rubbly lagoon reef at night.
