Colobometra perspinosa (Carpenter, 1881)

This species is similar in appearance and behavior to Cenometra bella, but is less common and has many fewer arms, usually no more than about 10. In the first photo, Colobometra perspinosa is at right, sharing a gorgonian with Cenometra bella (left).

Again, C. perspinosa is on the right.

The two may be the same but that cannot be confirmed. At least they are in the same family, Colometridae.
