These large holothurians are sporadically found in lagoon sandy areas and Halimeda patches.
Color beneath a coat of fine sand is more brownish.
This commensal crab Lissocarcinus orbicularis is often found on these sea cucumbers, usually on the underside near the mouth or anus, where they hide out most of the time.
