White ribbon eel, 103cm

This is a rare species at Kwajalein, or at least is rarely seen. We have seen only two individuals, both in lagoon slope Halimeda algae patches, where they were swimming through the algae. The only images we have is an old, low resolution hi8 video frame capture that does not do the animal justice.
