We did not personally see this species at Kwajalein, although it was reported from both Majuro and Enewetak Atolls, on either side of Kwajalein, by Randall et al (2005). Our photos from Majuro are by Raphaël Forns, who offered these comments: "I have observed many specimens associated with one or sometimes two Alpheidae shrimp. At Majuro, this species is very common on sand close to the urban area, but I have not seen any specimen in more isolated areas."
