This appears to belong to the Diogenidae. It is a very small crab inhabiting a 10-12mm long shell of Turridrupa astricta and may be a juvenile of one of our other species. The pattern on the walking legs are vaguely similar to those of Dardanus scutellatus and it was found in the same lagoon algae patch habitat where D. scutellatus is common. The eyes look quite different but those may change as the crab ages.
