Parribacus antarcticus (Lund, 1793)
200mm

Parribacus antarcticus is moderately uncommon on seaward, pinnacle and lagoon reefs, where larger specimens are usually found exposed on the reef at night. Small ones may be under rocks or in small ledges and caves. We have seen specimens as large as about 200mm, although most are much smaller.

An especially large individual on top of a lagoon pinnacle at night.

Below are smaller specimens.

Juveniles.

Below appear to be very small juveniles, although I have seen these figured elsewhere as a species of Ibacus.
