Scarus spinus (Kner, 1868)
Greencap parrotfish, 30cm

Maybe it is just the nearly solid green head, but somehow this one looks to me more like a real parrot than the other parrotfish species. It is moderately common on seaward and lagoon pinnacle reefs, but is rather shy and tends to stay a bit out of camera range. The two photos show the terminal male form.
