Carcharhinus galapagensis (Snodgrass & Heller, 1905)
Galapagos shark, 370cm

This large shark resembles a gray reef, but is usually larger, both longer and bigger around, and lacks the black trailing edge to the tail fin. We have seen only a few individuals, all on the seaward slope, usually on the deeper side of diving depth.
