These peanut worms could occasionally be found under rocks migrating from one hole or crevice to another. However, we saw most specimens in our aquarium. We would on occasion bring in rocks from the reef. Once a year or so, when we cleaned out the aquarium, we would find the 6-8cm of gravel at the bottom of the tank loaded with dozens or maybe even hundreds of these worms of various sizes. In fact, it was while returning these to the ocean that we got most of the photos below.
