Plectorhinchus gibbosus (Lacepède, 1802)
Gibbus sweetlips or Harry hotlips, 75cm

Plectorhinchus gibbosus is rare at Kwajalein. We have personally seen only one juvenile individual, washing back and forth like a leaf right off the boat ramp in Kwajalein Harbor, but several adults have been observed by others on the seaward reef. The first two photos of the adults below were photographed by Jay Lord in a swim-thru on the steep seaward slope west of Kwajalein Island.
