Twospot surgeonfish, 22cm

Adults are easily recognized with their brown color with slightly wavy longitudinal lighter lines and distinct black spots at the rear base of the dorsal and anal fins. The adult below was photographed by Stan Jazwinski at a depth of about 16m near a shipwreck on the Kwajalein Atoll lagoon reef.

Juveniles have dark bodies and yellow tails.
