We appear to have photos only of the colorful juveniles of this species. Adults appear all dark, but close up can be seen to have numerous dark green narrow horizontal lines. The 25-75mm juveniles are relatively rare and usually seen only on the seaward slope at depths of about 10 to 25m or so.
