Naso brevirostris (Cuvier, 1829)
Spotted unicornfish, 60cm

Smaller than Naso annulatus, Naso brevirostris form schools on lagoon, pinnacle and seaward reefs, where they typically feed on zooplankton. Their background color may be mostly dark or with a wide bluish white band behind the head, and individuals can switch back and forth between these two color phases quickly.
