Four species in the Malacanthidae are known from Kwajalein and the Marshalls. One of them is Hoplolatilus cuniculatus, of which we have no photos, but it can be seen on Fishbase. The others are all at least reasonable common. Except for the largest one, Malacanthus latovittatus, they tend to dive into holes in the reef at the approach of divers.
