Sufflamen bursa is common, particularly on seaward and lagoon pinnacle reefs near passes. This is one of the smaller triggers at Kwaj and, like most others, eats a variety of benthic invertebrates.
More often than most species, Sufflamen bursa is seen with tumors. This one has one at the front of the second dorsal and a smaller one below the gills.
A young specimen.
