Humphead or Napoleon wrasse

The largest wrasse, reaching at least 200cm. Juveniles are common on lagoon reefs and pinnacles. Large adults are uncommon but not rare on lagoon, pinnacle and seaward reefs.

Old hump-headed male.

Asleep in a seaward reef cave at night.
