Thalassoma quinquevittatum (Lay & Bennett, 1839)
Fivestripe wrasse, 17cm

These are moderately common on seaward, lagoon and pinnacle reefs.

The fish below photographed by Stan Jazwinski has a interesting goiter-like swelling on the underside, right below the gills and pectoral fins.
