Ctenoides ales (Finlay, 1927)

This is the well known "electric clam." It usually lives in dark caves and waves those white edges in and out of view. Especially when illuminated by a diver's light, those flickering white edges give the impression of electric arcing. We saw these at several sites in the Anilao area.
