Psilaxis radiatus (Röding, 1798)
16mm
Psilaxis
radiatus lives under the sand by day, emerging at night to feed. Reported
to eat the polyps of the hard coral Porites, we have seen many specimens
far from reefs with potential coral prey. Some we have seen appear to be feeding
on sand anemones.
