Vexillum unifasciale is moderately
common at Kwajalein in a range of lagoon, pinnacle and seaward reef areas, usually
under rocks or exposed at night at depths of 5 to at least 23m. Like the similar Vexillum crocatum, Vexillum unifasciale is highly variable in color. It is possible
that some of these might not be the same species.
