Like the other Vexilla species, these are rarely seen at Kwajalein, mostly likely due to lack of searching their typical habitat, which is attached to the underside of sea urchins, most often the short spined Tripneustes gratilla. Some references call this Vexilla vexillum, but it seems different from the other shell we figure under that name.
