Littering all beaches is a wide variety of plastic parts that have become much more numerous in recent years. At least they are for now out of the ocean, but they sure make a mess of what should be scenic beaches.
Lost nets.
Small plastics.
I ran into Frankenstein's monster on the beach at Torouji Island.
Plastics have even replaced the old glass Japanese fishing floats that were collectors' items in years past.
