Acropora cf abrolhosensis (Veron, 1985)

The haphazard tangle of rather slender branches looks to us like Acropora abrolhoesnsis, but the ID is not confirmed. These photos were taken on a variety of lagoon, pinnacle and seaward reefs.

A colony bleached white due to a spell of warmer than usual water (30°C) in October, 2009. For more on bleaching, see this.
