In some of the same ledges and caves as the common and other species lives an all white form.
The next two photos show living tentacles extending from the calices, proving they are not just dead and colorless coral skeletons.
Morphologically, the skeleton appears similar to the pink ones we list under the thick Stylaster, and they may be a color form of that species.
Both white and common species sharing the same cave.
