Baseodiscus aff delineatus (Delle Chiaje, 1825)

There are two specimens figured among the photos below, both found under rocks on large lagoon pinnacle reefs. Our specimens resemble figures of Baseodiscus delineatus, but most observations on iNaturalist are from both Atlantic and Pacific temperate sites such as Europe, southern Australia and California, along with a few from tropical areas such as Hawaii. It seems unlikely that all these are the same species.
