These have very similar shells to those we are calling Glyphepithema cf alapapilionis but the animal coloration is quite different. Specimens with animals like this were called Glyphepithema alapapilionis in Hollmann in Poppe (2008), page 488. We saw several specimens on the sand at night at Anilao Pier.
