Glyphepithema cf alapapilionis (Röding, 1798)

The pattern on these shells is very similar to those we are calling Glyphepithema alapapilionis but the animal coloration is quite different. While it is possible the animals simply vary in color within the species, it seems best to treat these separately until this is confirmed. We saw several specimens on the sand at night at Heidi's, Saimsim and Anilao Pier.
