This was a common species, usually found exposed on rocks and rubble in many different sites around Anilao.
One individual had a commensal Periclimenes imperator shrimp riding on its back.
There is some variation in color, but the white spotted rhinophores and gills distinguish this species.
On a prey sponge.
A couple more eating sponge that is covered by a fine layer of brown sand.
