These large stiff nudibranchs were found exposed in rubble or reef areas.

The three photos below (two separate animals) do not exactly fit Phyllidia varicosa, particularly in the marginal zone, which if anything, looks a bit more like Phyllidia coelestis. When you look at a lot of specimens of a number of different Phyllidia, it seems characters of some individual seem to run together, making them difficult to exactly place. At this point, we think these are more likely to belong to P. varicosa.
