Certainly a highlight of the May 2016 trip was being able to see two different specimens of Melibe colemani on different days at a site called Gazer. The first was found by another diver on our boat, Daniela, who had just returned from diving in Romblon and had seen several specimens there. After getting a search image and an idea where they were found, Jeanette found a second one a few days later just a hundred meters or so from where the first one was seen. They live hidden around and under a kind of common Xenia soft coral that has large non-grasping polyps, where they blend in very well.
We were fortunate enough to see another in the same vicinity in 2017.
