This eolid was found crawling on sand at the Green House muck site. It was difficult to see on the normal sand background, so a black plastic plate was placed in front of it. Crawling onto the plate, it contrasted better with the background. Although our specimen matches C. albopunctata in Gosliner et al (2018), it has some differences with the original described from Japan.
The next photo shows a sand encrusted mucus trail where the animal had crawled on the black plastic plate.
