Eubranchus cf mandapamensis (Rao, 1968)
15mm

We saw several of these in the Tulamben area. These are similar in shape to Eubranchus rubropunctatus, E. sp. b056 and E. ocellatus and in some characters the species seem to blend together. This group could use some DNA work to try to determine if they all belong to a single variable species. Primary differentiating characters of E. cf mandapamensis are the lavender subapical ring on the cerata and the more or less annulated rhinophores. This appears to be the animal figured in Gosliner et al (2018) as Eubranchus sp. 1.
