Aplysia californica Cooper, 1863

This is one of two species of Aplysia found in California, and is distinguished by its variable color and more ruffled parapodial flaps that are more open than the other species, Aplysia vaccaria, which is usually larger and black in color.

Pair with eggs.

The color of the one below looks like it could be A. vaccaria, but we're putting it here due to the somewhat open parapodia.
