Ancula pacifica MacFarland, 1905
10mm

This, or rather these nudibranchs were a case of inattentional blindness. The orange striped Ancula pacifica and the red tipped cerata of a Flabellina trilineata it was crawling across were noticed only when processing the photo of a Spirobranchus worm taken at Anacapa Island. Ancula pacifica was formerly known as A. gibbosa.
