Gymnodoris rubropapulosa (Bergh, 1905)

Gymnodoris rubropapulosa is known from the Marshalls from the single specimen figured below from Kwajalein Atoll. It measured about 40mm and was found in a lagoon sand and rubbly habitat. We have seen similar but paler specimens in the Solomons. This species is sometimes figured as Gymnodoris impudica.
