Gymnodoris sp. e844
~10mm?

This small gymnodorid has a more regular pattern of orange dots, a thin orange rounded line around the anterior end and indistinct gills. It was under a rock on a Kwajalein Atoll lagoon reef at a depth of about 6m.

The specimen below found by Ken Cone and Beth Van Zummeren at Majuro is very similar but has some minor differences from the one from Kwajalein. Specifically, the orange dots are arranged less in rows and the gills seem less indistinct. At present, we think they are the same, but it could turn out to be something different.
