This gymnodorid resembles Gymnodoris sp. e583 in the presence of white pustules over the body. However, the current species has a series of orange lines visible within the tissue, particularly on the lateral sides of the body. While this and G. e583 could be the same species, we feel it best to keep them separate for now. This animal was found and photographed by John and Lynette Flynn at Majuro Atoll and by Stan Jazwinski at Kwajalein. The first two photos show the Majuro specimen, the top one depositing a ribbon of orange eggs.
Millimeter scale.
Below is the Kwajalein specimen.
