Our only sighting of Thuridilla cf ratna was on 25 April 2012 on a shallow reef next to a low island covered with mangroves near Arou Pass. This animal matches neither the Thuridilla ratna figured in Martín-Hervás, et al (2021) nor what we are calling Thurdilla cf ratna in the Marshall Islands, in particular in coloration of the rhinophores. In rhinophore color, this animal seems closest to, but not exactly matching, that of what Martín-Hervás, et al (2021) call Thuridilla sp. 6 from east Africa and the Philippines. For a bit more discussion of these species, see the page on T. cf ratna from the Marshalls.
