This species has some similarities to Phyllidiella rosans we have seen in Hawaii except the ridges are sharper, less rounded. Also, P. rosans is supposed to have a grayish foot, while ours was definitely pink. This animal was found exposed on the Kwajalein Atoll seaward reef on 10 March 2014.
