Phyllidiella rosans (Bergh, 1873)

We saw Phyllidiella rosans at Pupukea, Oahu, and Puako, Hawaii. It was uncommonly seen in ledges and small caves at depths of 5 to 15m on day and night dives. In the first photo below, it was feeding on the yellow sponge.
